Douala is the economic capital of Cameroon with a population of over four million people. Three quarters of the population is living below poverty line, meaning they can’t afford a daily square meal nor medical care. Harvest for You has been able through its drugs and food donation program visited many local communities and villages, such as Ngwele, Grand Hanger, Carrefour Youmbi, Ndobo, Bonameme, Mother Theresia, and Rail river side.

Poverty makes it difficult for them to provide better medical health care. Lack of better health facilities and poor infrastructure. Also the lack of staffs and hospital and the high cost of better health care etc.

Harvest for You has been moving from one local communities to another or from one village to another, sentizing population and providing vitamins to the communities. This has helped the communities as we have received a lot of testimonies from the population on how the vitamins have help in rebuilding their immune system that has been damaged by different diseases since Cameroon is in the tropics where there is a lot of tropical diseases.

A lot of testimonies many want us back in their communities due to the effectiveness of the vitamins.

Target Group: 1-90years old

Target number: **100** One hundred families per month.

Drugs used: Vitamins and Pain Reliefs.

Team: Nurses, staff and Volunteers.

Harvest for you has been able to put on the tables of many of the villages such as Carrefour Yombi, Grand hanger, Ngwele block24, Bonameme, Mother Theresia, Rail Carrefour Tanyi.

Harvest has been able to feed and supply these Communities or villages with food stuffs thereby putting food on their tables. The war in the English speaking regions have caused a lot of havoc in the agricultural sector especially as there were the food basket of the Nation, so most of people have run away leaving their farms and leaving in Douala for safety, hunger is now the toll of the day.
